This salt has the texture of tiny snowflakes. It is the only salt I use now. It enhances the flavor of food. Doesn't taste like salt! Knowing this salt actually has essential minerals still in it was my reason for trying it, the taste is my reason for loving it!

I love Himalayan salt! I always carry some with me, and have surprised my friends with the \"salt test.\" Invariably, when they put a little on their tongue, the first reaction is, \"Wow!\" At that point, I laugh and say, \"It\'s like a party in your mouth, isn\'t it?\" As a gourmet cook, I find nothing brings out the flavor of foods like good salt, and with Himalayan salt, a little goes a long way. With all the trace minerals and optimal molecular structure, even people who restrict their salt intake can enjoy this flavor without guilt. Another bonus - now that I use Himalayan salt, I find no longer crave salty (and fattening!) snacks.

I really like this salt. I would go far out of my way to find it, if you did not have it. I think I'd cry if I could not get it any more. It is better than candy ...

I sent a box of this salt to my parents as a present. They grow their own vegetables and live a healthy life. My dad told me this was the best gift I ever gave them - the salt enhances the flavor of every meal they prepare, and they especially enjoy it on their home grown vegetables.
